Stone and wood, are the two main materials used both for the interior and exterior of the villa. It has 6 bedrooms, large indoor public areas, a private outdoor pool with a relaxation area and a barbeque. A24-hour concierge service is at your disposal in order to fulfill all your desires.
Villa Angelica used to be a traditional village house, where three generations grew up. It was the grand-fathers house, Michalis, who is today’s owner that decided to revive his childhood experiences and then share it with friends from all over the world.
Α traditional arcade that is made of stone helps to divide up the room and leads to a fully equipped kitchen with high butcher’s table and stools. There are two spacious bedrooms that can accommodate up to four people and two bathrooms with glass showers. On the second floor, lies the villa’s main area; three luxury bedrooms with one bathroom and a large living room with fireplace, a dining room, a kitchen and a large terrace that offers exceptional views.
Hidden inside the rock lies the outdoor heated pool that provides absolute privacy and a large area with wooden deck, an outdoor shower and luxurious sun loungers The third floor has the master bedroom that comes with an en-suite bathroom and its own private terrace offering exceptional panoramic views of the village and the surrounding mountains.

Layout 
The original house was built in 1935; the choice of location was made taking into consideration its protection from the weather phenomena, its panoramic mountain views, and the proximity to the centre; at the same time it is in an extremely quiet location, as it is located at the edge of the village. The house was originally built of stone, from the quarry that belongs to the craftsman from Meronas – which still exists and is open to visitors – and which was carved for this purpose. The strong material of the stone is highlighted and reinforced so as to integrate the villa into its rocky surroundings. New arched openings from stone were built with a reference to the traditional Cretan architecture. The selection of materials, textures and colours give a sense of harmony between the new and the old as well as the natural landscape.
Exterior
The pool area is like a hidden oasis in nature. The scenery is like a “conversation” between the villa and the rock, as this unique exterior space is formed on top of it and follows its natural relief.
The ‘atrium’ between the villa and the rock offers an absolute privacy. Here lies a path that is carved by time giving a mysterious vibe as it ends up inside the rock. There is also a small “natural living room”, also carved into the rock that give a unique and idyllic atmosphere to the place.
The pool dominates this stunning scenery, offering you unique moments of relaxation and fun.
Ground Floor
The villa spreads across three levels, creating two separate houses per floor. The first house is situated on the ground floor that extends over the southeast courtyard with direct access to the street. The bedrooms are designed with luxurious and minimalistic style and decor. Handmade wood furniture in light colours, large beds with extra fine mattresses and linens as well as marble bathrooms will promise to offer you a relaxing stay.
Maisonette
The second one is primarily situated on the floor, having an additional room on the top floor that overlooks on the northwest and most private outdoor space with reference to the rock. Both houses enjoy views over Mt Psiloritis.
